Tonight was the monthly meeting of the Adult Writer’s Group at my local library. It was led by a local librarian for over a year before she left to take a job at a library closer to her house. I didn’t want to see the group dissolve, so I volunteered to lead the group. As of February, 2017, I have proudly carried that mantle.
That call to action was answered in a tidal wave of projects. It was glorious. Tonight’s discussion was focused on the writing, and the process, and plotting. It was a real Writer’s Group.
As she read her piece, I understood what a Soul Purpose was, and what mine was meant to be. I’m not just a writer. I don’t just love writing.
I found the term Fugleman.
I am a Writing Fugleman. I will be there for you, encouraging you to pave your own writing way. Avoid my pitfalls. Share my successes. Let’s share a Soul Purpose.
