HAMLET: To be or not to be, that is the question.
Because I wonder whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune or to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them.
Do I enjoy the easy life of the “I’m writing a book” lifestyle where I’ve got it plotted, and I talk about it all the time, but I don’t actually get to the writing part. Because I’ve already written seven books so far, and look where it’s gotten me. I’ve gotten over 25 rejections on my current work in progress, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever written.
If nobody likes my best, why keep going?
Then I saw the movie TITUS with Anthony Hopkins, Jessica Lange, and Alan Cumming, and I became forever lost to comedies. The freedom of knowing not everyone will make it out alive gives me as the writer the ability to tell my truest story.
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
Not any longer, Hamlet. I shall be a coward no more.
